The Moving Up and On project enables a dedicated employment advisor to work as part of the staff team in the Salvation Army hostels to offer pre-employment training, IAG, job brokerage and in-work support to the residents, who due to current funding criteria are excluded from this valuable service.

The project has been specifically beneficial to the homeless, allowing them a real opportunity to get back on their feet and into the workforce in order to ultimately close the door on homelessness.
